konecto curling

I have konecto installed in a house that was cleaned with Old Englsh. The floor is starting to come apart at the seems. Could the Old English be the cause of this?

Haven't heard that one before. Check out Konecto in the search box. Not unusual to have seam separation.

I would say it is not the fault of the old english. It would take a lot of moisture to in the seams and break down the glue. If you installed it yourself call who ever you purchased it from and ask them to come and take a look. Do not tell them that old english was used. Most product suggest using only water. If you had someone install it have them come and take a look at it.

Konnecto is prone to such problems anyway, but if it only occurred after using the cleaner, I'd have to say yes that is probably the cause of it. Never use products like that on a vinyl floor. Old English has citrus oils in it. Those oils can damage and stain the vinyl as well as seep into the joint and dissolve the adhesive that holds the planks together. Konnecto already has issues with the adhesive system. This is just making it worse.

How was it cleaned? There is a big difference between wiping it with a damp sponge and wet mopping it.
