Karndean Brand vinyl tile is it good stuff

I am looking at Karndean Brand vinyl tile for a laundry room remodel. I am told it is long lasting, somewhat resistant to water and will help keep the noise down better than ceramic. This sounds to good to be true. I looked at the Nafco web site below and can not find installation instructions. It just says it is not a DIY product.

My two questions are as follows. How do you install it and will it perform well in a laundry/mud room.

I am pretty advanced for a DIYer so I am not afraid to tackle something new but some experienced instruction would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance - Rege

I wouldn't say it's better than ceramic but it is a very good product. Walmarts all over the country have Karndean vinyl strip in them. It's more durable than a lot of solid vinyl tile because it's all PVC. Scratches can be buffed out if you ever get any. Competitive products usually have a urethane wear layer, which is more environmentally friendly but when you manage to scratch it, it's there to stay.

Installation is fairly easy. You make sure your floor is smooth, spread the correct adhesive and lay the tile in wet. Roll it down and wait for it to set up.
