Can a floating floor be put on top of another floating floor that has been glued to the floor

Well if it's glued to the floor it's sure not a floating floor anymore.
What's the reason for the change of flooring?
Is the old floor firmly attached and flat?

as long as the old floor isnt bowed up or cupped or missing anything, and as long as its a flat level surface it shouldnt be a problem.
