Installing wonderboard on pier and beam foundation

I just finished putting wonderboard down on a plywood floor with pier and beam foundation and noticed that there is still some squeaks in the floor when you walk across it. Should I be concerned? If so, how do I fix before I lay the tile?

Did the floor squeak before the wonderboard was laid? The wonderboard is not meant to remove squeaks.
Did you put thinset under the wonderboard before you screwed it to the subfloor?

Installing wonderboard on pier and beam foundation

Yes, the floor squeaked before I put the wonderboard down. I put thin set underneath it and attached with appropriate screws every 6 inches. I assumed that the wonderboard would build such a strong foundation for the tile that any squeaks would be eliminated in the wood below, but it doesn't sound like that's the case, correct?

Unfortunately you thought wrong. Concrete boards may make the floor seem stiffer, but it adds no structural strength and neither has anything to do with squeaks. Squeaks mean the boards are loose and need to be fixed before you install the concrete backer. You can still fix this from underneath....maybe.
