Installing laminate in kitchen

I am installing laminate flooring in my kitchen. I was just wondering how I will cover up the 1/4" space in between the flooring and the cabinets. Should I use quarter-round? I have read other forums that have suggested silicone but I don't think I would like the look of that. What options do I have?

Usually, the manufactures of the flooring material also make a quarter round that matches the flooring material itself. Ask for it where you purchased the flooring.
The last floor we installed in a kitchen, we used such a quarter round, and it really looked good with the flooring.

(Also, don't forget to use clear silicone caulking to seal up the edges of the flooring prior to installing your quarter round materials)
