Installing laminate in 2 hallways

I understand it is personal preference...what do you think.

One hallway running North -South, other running East -West and they join...

Either run everything in the house North South or do I run the one hallway East - West and have the rest of the flooring running N-S?

(3 bedrooms, 2 hallways and living room)

Thankya!
