Installing Hard wood in hallway with stairs
I am installing hardwood in a hallway with a 3 sets of stairs (2 going down and 1 going up)
It is solid hardwood with matching stair nosing.
I am wondering about matching up with the stair nosing on each side
Should I start on one side and the cut wood and then router in a new groove on side going downstairs?
What is the recomended way to match up against the carpeted stairs?
I am wondering what would be the best way to do this install or any handy hints anyone may have?
ummm...need more info.
What type of wood...solid or engineered.
tearout existing carpet?
remove and reset moldings?
Install per instructions I guess.
Not sure what you need really.
But I want to help!
