Installing engineered hardwood flooring over concrete
I am installing engineered hardwood in my living room and hall this wood will be glued to the concrete. The living area has 2 entries on the same wall with the fireplace(6') between them. At one of the entries the concrete is a little bit higher than the other side.(This is not the transition this is the concrete that I will insall the floor on) Does any one have a suggetion on this? Or on concrete sanding?
I considered floating but I don't like the echo in the room when you walk on it. The room is very large with high ceiling and I thought the glue down method would make the flooring sound more solid. I guess I did not make my question clear I understand the T -molding for transition but the concrete where I will lay the floor is higher on one side of the fireplace than the other. On one wall there is and entrance, 6' of fireplace and the other entrance.
