Installing ditra over subfloor

Installing Ditra over plywood subfloor. As per schuler guidelines I must use modified thinset. I purchase speedset polymer modified thinset mortar. I'm not sure if this is modified ? Or shoud I take the clue on the package polymer modified to mean modified.
Thanks in advance for advice.

It's modified alright. You even just said so. But, you do NOT want to use that to install Ditra. It is a fast setting mortar, you do not have enough hands to work with it before it gets hard. Buy a regular modified, avoid terms such as 'speedset' - 'rapidset' or anything similar. You can install Ditra then begin setting tiles shortly after.

Thank you

Thank you for your knowledge and advice.
I did use the speedset to put the ditra down because I already had it and wanted to get rid of it. Fortunately it is a fairly small flooring project so it went down without a hitch. I used the mega bond to apply tile to the ditra.
Thanks again and Happy New year.
