Independent Inspector Came and Went

Thankfully the inspector came today (Tuesday Jan. 13, 2009)

Thanks to the retailer for getting on this.

One more step in our dilemma. Not sure if it is good or bad ..... yet.... we will see.

We presented all of Konecto's Website Installation Instructions and the ones included in the box. So he has all the company information we had.

We also gave him all of our installation steps that we did ourselves.

He went away with copies of everything directly printed off Konecto's website and in the box. All that we had available to us at time of installation. Plus we showed him a video clip off of Konectos website.

We should know something more by the end of this week. All we know right now is he was genuinely studying the condition and likeness of the failure of the osb and concrete subfloors. Both are basically in the same shape of adhesive failure and on very different surface conditions. He thought he had an answer for sure because he started with the basement. But he went upstairs and had to rethink his initial thought on why it also failed.

We will have to wait and see. Konecto's video on their website has pretty good information to help. We have recorded and downloaded the video in case.

Hopefully the next update will be a good one for us.

I hope so too. It's great to see you trust the inspector because all inspectors I have worked with will figure out what the problem is and that's it. He will not represent you or the retailer or the manufacturer or the distributer.
I have seen some people who hire an inspector and STILL have a conspiracy theory.

Best of luck to you and yours.
