Ideas for drainage?
Ok so in my basement utility room my HVAC drain is a small PVC pipe, 3/8 I think, that runs across the floor to a drain. I want to tile the floor and remove the pipe somehow, but the HVAC must still drain. Thus what options to I have? I've looked at the seamless showpan drain deals but they are several inches thick. i need something that is coverable, wide, and shallow. Has anyone ran into something like this? Could I use flat metal and shape it into a squared edge U then put a cover over it? That is about the only idea I can think of.
