how to support flooring on a slab construction

Problem: Hardwood flooring (t&G) laid on stringers that rest on cement slab. But some staggered ends do not line up with stringers, so the ends flex down and are not supported in these spots.

I was thinking of drilling 3/8 inch hole near ends, and filling void with some material to support the ends. Perhaps expanding foam; then putting a wood plug in the hole.

There are too many spots to try to remove the boards, which would require resanding the entire floor.

any suggestions??

Wood stringers on a slab is a time bomb. It will fail sometime.
