How to put baseboards on curved walls
I'm not quite sure how to put baseboards onto curved walls. The baseboards I took off were wood with small cuts on the backside along with thin wire running in the board. I have about 30 ft run to do and I would like to use wooden baseboards. Any suggestions would help.
i'm not a trim carpenter, so you should probably ask someone who is,
but we do do baseboard trim after installing tile
I would suggest relief cuts on back spaced tighter on transitions
nail off, and have someone knee push it closer as you go
scarf cut (45) where baseboard meets new piece
never had to do curved walls
don't understand concept of curved walls anyhow
go to home center and order flexible molding, once its painted looks identical to wood base
Take a look at these threads on this fourm :)
