How to get Brick off of concrete

I just recently moved into a new house and the old home owner basically placed brick throught the entire back yard. The job definately was not professionally done and simply looks awful. I am in the process of removing the brick but so far it has been far to difficult. Apparently he thin set every brick to a concrete base. I was wondering, is there a power tool out there that would be able to saftely remove the brick without destroying it?
