How flat do I need to get my slab before I install laminate flooring?

How flat do I need to get my slab before I install laminate flooring? I am installing Harmonics Vineyard Cherry http://harmonics-flooring.com/products.cfm?item=11 over an old funky slab. I have been hitting it with a self leveling concrete and things are looking much better but there are still some spots that sage 1/8" or so in 4'. I am planning to hit those spots with some more SLC but am wondering when I should call it good. Also are there any tricks other than SLC to fix the small problems in the sub floor?

Thanks for any help

Dave

Follow Manufactures guidelines .

1/8" in 6' or 3/16" in 10'

Dave it sounds like you are doing a real good job Just keep at it with the level and patch until it's as good as possible. Perfect isn't going to happen with your situation, obviously.

I just inspected a glue down that the installer followed builders association guidelines of 1/4" in 4'
Looks like the tide is coming in . Lady has $10,000 of firewood on her floor .

I just finished grinding paint off my basement floor. Sucked.
Getting ready to hit with Diamond wheel before self leveling.
I plan on putting the Tyroc subfloor before laminate floor.

Any tips for using the self leveling compound? If you do in stages like the OP is doing do you just re prime the existing floor level spots before tying in to it?
