How to fill holes in concrete after demo job.

I just took out 30-year-old tile from my parents' house. Now the concrete slab has a bunch of holes. How do I get everything flat? Is there something I can pour onto the floor to get everything flat and level?

THANKS!

Yes, There is----It's called self leveling compound. SLC can not be used as a finish finish surface as it is to soft to take traffic.

What are you putting on top of the concrete?

I will be putting tile back on. Can I tile directly on the SLC? Do I need to do any prep prior to using the SLC? THANKS!

That's exactly what self leveling compound is designed to do,Tile.

In a nut shell--clean floor---prime with the recommended primer--mix with very cold water--

dump on floor---quickly push it around to help it level.--Add more for a deeper hole.

It is very important to read the instructions---and work fast.

I use one that is mixed with a liquid latex for the first coat--I've never had bond failure with this one.

However,I believe most brands work just as well.
