How does one roll out their refrigerator on Hardwood floors?

Having just given my 1 year old hardwood kitchen floor a nice pair of grooves - going forward, what is the best way to roll your refrigerator out without damaging the floor (in my case - any further damage)

Thanks

What is handy? I keep a piece of thin scrap paneling to protect the floor.

Throw rug upside down should let this slide.

Check your wheels (two man job)

Thin sheet of MDF or a Masonite like material does the trick

They also sell these hard plaster runners that the fridge sits on... I use the telfon coated "coaster" pads... the wheels sit inside them and they slide on pretty much any surface.
