How do I repair cigarette burns in vinyl flooring

I have a few small cigarette burns in vinyl flooring that is otherwise in good condition. Unfortunately it is in a high traffic area. I don't want to cut it out because I have no scraps to glue in there... is there any touch up paint or something... even if I have to touch it up every once in a while.
Thank you

Sorry, patching is the only way. And a small patch in a high traffic area usually fails.

Sniffle....
thanks for your reply. I'm think I may just drill out the burn (they're tiny and round, not elongated) and put some almond silicone caulk in there... or get a rug. Too bad... I was hoping there was a touch up paint like for chipped tubs.

If you put a rug or floor mat on there make sure it doesn't have a plastic backing, or because of platicizer migration, you will have a bigger mess.

Even something like a plastic trash can sitting on a vinyl floor can cause staining.

How do I repair cigarette burns in vinyl flooring

I was in a restaurant bathroom recently and saw a seam down the the vinyl floor. It looked like it was filled with something hard and shiny. Is this the epoxy you're talking about? Where do I get this stuff? How is it applied? I only need about a teaspoon of it. Can I substitute something else?
Thank you!

What you saw was a heat-welded seam. Has to be done by a pro. Takes some expensive equipment, too.

We have all been in that restroom many many times and we know exactly what you are talking about. Rusty is correct, in that application it would be a welded seam. Not to be done DIY.

RATS!!! These burns are small....1/8-1/4" round. If I drill them out, what can I fill them with that will stay put? They're bugging me because the floor is off white.
