How clean is clean enough to tile?

I'm cleaning up after my drywaller and wondering how clean do I need to get the concrete prior to laying tile on it? I swear he had a melt down in the kitchen and bath area and just let the mud fly.

I've scraped and vaccuumed but there are still spots from the mud where the scraper simply knocked the top off. Will add a photo or two in a bit.

How much further do I need to go?

Thanks

Thank you. I thought it needed to be as clean as possible.

clean as possible.. so what really is that .. huh
really you should be able to see the grey that exists under the mud that is there.. or you will see the white when the tile comes up...
