How can I prevent silverfish in the expansion gaps of laminate flooring

We have taken out most of our carpets and put in laminate flooring.
I still notice a lot of silverfish coming out from under the base boards.
We have just put in laminate into another room.
I am wondering what to do to prevent the fore-mentioned problem.
Is there any sealer that stays flexible to be put into the expansion gap between the laminate and the drywall?
Would Borax powder be appropriate or Baking Powder to discourage these pests?
Looking forward to your answers and experiences before we put up the base boards.
Thank you.

Have you thought of calling an exterminator?

Sprinkle a thin line of diatomaceous earth around the base board and in any other problem areas, that will wipe out the silverfish (and anything else with an exoskeleton). Reapply after vacuuming/sweeping/washing floors.

Diatomaceous earth is totally non-toxic, it's just crushed diatom shells, so completely safe around pets/babies/etc.

You bet - works on just about all the creepy crawlies (only limitation is the bugs have to come into contact with it for it affect them, and it has to kept dry).
