how can I lay floorboards over both concrete and wooden floor
My new kitchen has a new conrete screeded foor, but it is open to and part of my sitting room, which has a suspended floorboarded floor. I would like to lay floorboards over the lot, to give a uniform floor. What would i need to do to prepare both types of floor?
Sorry - in the UK floorboards means Pine planks, (tongue-and-grooved, these days but used to be nailed down). I might also go for hardwood engineered wood (planks with a polished/varnished top layer), but whatever I do, i need to cover from wood to concrete in the same room
