How can I get a floor like this?

Hi - I have a painted concrete floor and would like to get it to look something like the attached. Is this just a matte poly coat or something else? It's a hi-traffic gallery space so needs to be somewhat durable. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Paste Wax application
- you rub it in, buff it to a high shine . . . to maintain every now and then you re-buff it rather than re-applying the wax as how a thicker bed of wax absorbs minerals from water (such as when it's washed) and so forth.

It could also be epoxy concrete floor coating.

That looks like it was acid stained to get the color and variation. Not sure what the final finish is though.

Could be - but I hope not . . . it has serious imperfections, pips and flaws. I'd be disapointed considering the cost of epoxy vs the flaws in those results (not saying it doesn't look nice, though).

But that does bring up a good point: epoxy is durable - and more ideal, I think. While considerably more expensive it would be worth considering. It comes in different levels of sheen as well (gloss, satin, etc)
