Help/suggestions

I want to remove carpet from my stairs and put down Pergo or something similar. Question/problem I have is the last step (bottom) is rounded at the sides. I see that bull nose for steps is straight, I have yet to see any round bull nose. Am I missing something?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

You may be able to find something if it is a standard radius. I make these myself. For me, it is faster and more economical. You may want to find a local carpenter.

Teetorbilt, I will try just about anything once. Can you give me an idea on how you make these?

Thanks again

Tough stuff to make em.
Mayby Teet will fill ya in, but I would just square it off and 45 it.

I'd follow Flor's plan if I were you and insist on DIYing it.
To do the radius, you will have to make a template, be good with a router and saber saw, knowlegeble in fixtures and wood, have time and be lucky.
The way that I do it involves much of the same except that I have a bandsaw and a shaper. Luck still factors in.
This is why I suggested a local carpenter. The first way might take me 2 hrs., the second, less than 1 hr. Don't forget that the guy has to cover his travel time and overhead. If I were coming in for this job only, no finish, no nuttin, I would charge around $250.00.
