Help with flooring identification

Hoping someone here can help identify a floor and where I may be able to find it...

I was recently in Germany (Munich) and saw the flooring in the image linked below in a few stores. It looked like it was parquet flooring in that it was tiles, but the strips appeared to be turned on their side. The tile sizes appeared to be around 6-12 inches square (sadly I didn't think to put anything in the picture for scale). Google searches for all types of parquet flooring and image searches seem to have turned up nothing. Any ideas? I have a small space I think this flooring would make it look much bigger. Thanks!
