Help choosing hardwood underlayment

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum.
I am planning to install solid 3/4" thick hardwood floor (appalachian maple) in an upstairs bedroom. The sub-floor is 3/4" plywood. I am trying to decide what to put under the hardwood: rosin paper, roof felt, or aquabar. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Help choosing hardwood underlayment

I have always used felt paper under hardwood. On some of the DIY shows they use rosin paper and others use felt paper.

Any would work, It is to reduce squeeks. The best is the red rosin.
