Help! Ceramic Tile to Carpet Transitions.

We have our house up for sale and have an open family/kitchen area with carpet/tile. Carpet was rolled and butted about 1/4 - 1/2 inch from tile. when our dog was a puppy she pulled on the carpet edge enough to show the carpet backing only on the very edge. Otherwise carpet is only 2yrs old and in good condition. Don't want to replace carpet (don't have any extra pieces) What would be a good transition to use from carpet to tile that won't look bad? The home is in an upscale neighborhood but market has taken a dive so we want a low cost but look good solution. Any ideas?

Should be able to pick up a transition strip at a big box or flooring store.

You can get prefinished metal or wood and stain to your color choice.
