hardwood floors squeak

doreen28 Newbie   Join Date: Mar 2011 Posts: 8	hardwood floors squeak I have hardword floors throughout my home..the only problem is they squek and you can hear every step someone makes..is ther a way to fix this?

tcleve4911 old guy contractor     Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Maine on Little Sebago Posts: 857	hardwood floors squeak They make a special fastener and bracket to screw to the bottom of the floor and the joist. Sometimes construction adhesive will do the trick
