Hardwood floors, No AC

So my AC has gone out and I am saving money in order to fix it. I am a little worried about my floors. They were originally installed in the 50's. Sanded and refinished last summer and coated with moisture cure. When the AC is fixed is there any way to slowly acclimate the floors to the AC without any cupping occurring? Thanks.

Not to worry. If they did not start to buckle yet you will not have an issue when the AC comes back on. The humidity in the summer will make the floors expand, the ac will draw the moisture out causing the wood to get smaller. Good luck.

It will not be an issue. If you think their is excessive moisture in the room, then maybe sconsider running a dehumifier for a few days.
