hardwood floors


Hi, I'm about to buy hardwood floors but want to know if shorter boards are of a lesser quality than longer boards. When I visited the hardware store i noticed hardwood come in various lengths. Any comments would be helpful, thankyou, Andrew

Hi jackofall1, yes there prefinished with a satin finish and the name is Cumaru.

The boards I have seen with a different brand starts with a B, were all of similar quality regardless of length, the hard part is utilizing all the short boards which comprise about 15% of the package usually about 20 ft2. Buy at least 10% extra for scrap.
