Hardwood Flooring Replacement

I have a 7 foot long half wall with a bar on top that I want to take down. This wall sticks out in the kitchen so there is no room for a table. This wall is perpendicular to the 3/4" hardwood flooring that terminates on both sides of it. My question is how to install hardwood flooring in the voided space where the wall use to be. Obviously I wouldn't want a straight line of seams. Is there a way to remove the hardwoods around it without tearing it up and reusing some of it?

You need to weave the new floor into the old. T&G flooring is random lengths, cut back the end of wall cut to the next peice in the line. To remove a pice of flooring, cut down the middle of the board and gently pry up. There are nail in the tongue, which will likely break off. For the new pieces, cut the bottom off the groove side and tap the tongue into place.
