Hardwood Cleats

I am getting ready to install 3/4" Maple hardwood over 1/2" Plywood Sub-straight that is over 1 1/2" T&G 2x6 Sub floor. I will be using a Pneumatic cleat Floor nail gun and am wondering just what size Cleat to use? The 2" 50mm seems like it is going to blow out my hardwood and the 1 1/2" Cleat @ 30 mm might just be under kill since the Cleat will be @ a 45 degree angle. Any thoughts what Size Cleat I should use? Thank you in advance for the reply.

Hardwood Cleats

Why wouldn't you be asking this of the flooring manufacturer? They are the people to answer that kind of a question and hopefully keep you out of trouble.
