Grout lines in shower floor cracked and mortar is oozing out.

I installed a tile floor in my shower with premixed mortar and now after 4 mounths some of the grout has cracked and mortar is oozing out. Did i use the wrong mortar? Looks like I will have to remove the whole floor and start over

Mortar should not ooze, move, or otherwise be uncured after a day or so. Something is very wrong.

NEVER use premixed products, they will often come back to haunt you.

Like Bill said--water soluble premixed adhesives do not belong in a wet area.

Modified firmset--that's the right product---Good luck--Mike--
