I just finished tiling a bathroom floor. I seem to be having trouble removing the film of grout over the tiles. I've wiped it down about 5 times with fresh water. I'm starting to get frustrated. Is there any kind of cleaner I can use that will get rid of this?
I assume you wiped the tiles five times during the initial cleaning process. If so , the surface of the tiles should be pretty clean from actual grout residue, and the haze that remains is easily buffed off by wiping with a coarse matreial such as burlap. If not you may need to scrub with a grout remover (available from the tile supplier) and a stiff bristle brush.
Clean it once more with a barely damp cloth then come back tomorrow and buff it with an soft towel. Dont waste too much time on it.
