Grout Color

We hired a guy to lay our tile for us. We provided all materials, including grout that we bought at Lowes. The grout color was supposed to be a sand color. There was a sample of the color on the bag, and it looked tan. After he finished, the grout looked very white. I figured it was because of the haze over everything. I have removed the haze using water and a sponge, as well as a scouring pad where it had hardened more. The grout still appears very white. Any ideas why this would be? Will it change after we seal it?

Grout Color

It'll darken a little and get a wet look when you seal it, but it should be very similar to the color specified on the bad to start with.
