Good product to fill cracks in concrete floor
Im looking for suggestions, preferences, and opinions on concrete crack fillers. My garage floor has a number of settling cracks in the floors. The hous is only 6 years old but I think the builder didn't put any reinforcing mesh so it has cracks at least since I moved in a year ago. These cracks range from mostly hairline to a couple cracks that at maybe 1/16" wide. Most of te cracks are web and flush, there about to or three of the wider ones with a small offset around 1/16". I have seen a couple possible ways to patch. One would be converter patcher that you mix and trowel. Another is premixed crack filler that is supposed to pour, but is still kinda thick. Then I have seen concrete crack filler in a caulking tube that says it is self-leveling. Are any of these better than the others? Also, I may want to later use an epoxy paint and wound would like to fill the cracks as smoothly as possible with something that will hold the paint.
Hydraulic cement is a powder that you mix with water and trowel into the cracks.
