Glue and staple hardwood?
I am putting in new bathroom. I have 5/8" tounge and groove OSB sub floor. I want to install 3/8" real oak hardwood over it. I don't like the osb to hold staples or nails particularly when only 5/8". I am thinking of using constuction adhesive and staples to hold the floor. I think it will give me a serious attachment and the glue will act as a vapor barrier. Anyone see a problem with that?

Is this a full bath or a half bath/powder room? I don't recommend hardwood for tub/shower baths unless they're never used.
