Gearing up for engineered hardwood

I'm getting ready to put down 3/8" engineered hardwood. It will be over a crawlspace. Will I need a vapor barrier layed down first? What about roofing felt?

Thanks,

If your floating the floor, then it will need to be laid over a wood floor pad.
No need for moisture barrier, however it would be nice to see one down in the crawlspace if you do not already have it.

Gearing up for engineered hardwood

Thanks...I'm planning on nailing the planks down. The crawlspace has 8 mil poly on the ground. I also have closed cell spray foam applied on the bottom side of the subfloor.

Then no pad is needed, but the felt will be.
Moisture barrier beneath that would be useless with nails going thru it eh?
