I just installed new doors, base and casement molding through out my home. In some areas the wood flooring does not reach the new installation and there are a few gaps that I'd like to fill in somehow. What would be the best method to fix these small areas? Here are some pics attached to help understand.
Thanks for any help and thoughts.
Hate to tell you but the floor was installed wrong.
The jams were suppost to be undercut and the flooring installed under them. There's nothing I can think of that's going to hide that now.
Someone installed the trasition moulding before the baseboards went in.
Base comes first the the strip.
About the only way to fix that is to cut the moulding with an ossilating saw. If you try to remove it, it's going to break off the bottom strip.
