Gap between door jamb and laminate floor

What do you do if the cut is not perfect and gaps appear between the door jamb and the laminate floor?

pull the door and frame. trim down what's needed off the bottom of the door case, reinstall and shim the top for a snug fit

Any other way without disassembling the door and the frame?

Gap between door jamb and laminate floor

I just trimmed up a door Jam and a bunch of door casings, Have a carpet install coming this week.

I used one of those vibrating multi tool jobs that you see commericals for all the time. I never would have thought it would work, but the thing cut the molding like soft butter. I got it from harbor freight for $30. The cutting blade is offset so you can cut right along the floor if you need to with no damage. Thing worked like a charm. Its from harbor freight tho....so today might be the only time it works But I'd gladly spend the $30 to keep the sub contractors from hacking up my moldings...

Thanks for the info. But it's too late for me. I have already done some damage.
