Forgot mortar under backerboard

sharisavage Construction Junkie   Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Fresno, Ca Posts: 46	Forgot mortar under backerboard I just finished laying the last, most complicated piece of cementboard for a bathroom floor and realize I forgot to mortar it in! This is what happens when you lay a floor at midnight. I need to pull in up in the morning and put down the thinset, right? Can I put the screws back in the same holes? What a moron....

Don't feel bad, I've made worse mistakes than that. Like the time I painted a whole room before the drywall was installed. Or that time I laid sod green side down
