flooring transition

I just purchased Allure flooring for a large family room and am having trouble figuring out how to transition the vinyl floating floor to the carpet - on concrete- going the upstairs. The strip seems to be either glued or nailed to the concrete. Problem is giving the floor room to float. Can anyone suggest anything?

Go back to HD, they should have a T-moulding to match the Allure.
