Flooring suggestions for the "urine gone" floor

The primer seems to have worked covering the urine odor. Can I install some laminate wood (cheap and easy for me to do) to cover the plywood recently Primed. It is on the 2nd floor and we are undecided if to re carpet or simply get some flooring

Is the pet gone that was causing the problum?
Just keep in mind laminte floor will be cold to walk on bare foot, will tranfure sound down stairs far more and will sure no increace the value of the home.

The stains were all there from the original owner as we have pets but not causing any of the issues. Good point about the noise level and value concern but it real is a cat room and storage area currently. No one but the cat in the room. We are not ready for the whole house to be re done and thought the flooring as a start. May simply buy a area rug.

Your call I guess. I am not a big fan of cheap laminate flooring but I guess real quality stuff might work for your situation. Just make sure you get something with enough laminate it will stand up to pet claws or plan on putting an area rug over it.

I agree as have the laminate in the kitchen and to me looks cheap--but I did not buy it--may just keep it as a loud white color floor--echoing!
