Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Central California Posts: 45 My Photos O.K., I have read and listened to various opinions. I am putting down laminate flooring. From the entry down the hall,through the kitchen and dining room and into the family room. Multi-directional. My plan was to run the length down the hallway and continue that direction. Which is lenthwise lengths as you enter. Check out pics on my album. I am asking for opinions with regard to which direction to lay the floor? |

No right or wrong. I tend to go the same direction as the long wall in the hall.
But there can be other considerations. Pics didn't help too much, but good thought. |

with laminate flooring i really dont think it matters but usually i always go perpendicular to the floor joists...
