flooring choices for loft in garage

Hello-

I have a garage with a loft in it, and we are just finishing it off to make it like a small apartment, with a bathroom. I am trying to decide what flooring to put down in the bathroom.

I was going to get some sort of "adhesive" flooring (vinyl or Allure, etc) but I live in northern Wisconsin and the temperature will vary in the garage from 55-60 in the winter and possibly 90 or higher in the summer (no A/C).

I read there are alot of problems with adhesives and drastic temperature/humidity changes, so should I just skip the whole idea of putting this type in?

If so, what would be best for a bathroom in this environment? Ceramic tile I suppose?

Thanks
