Flooring Advice from expert Ravee Patel

Hi, I am from the UK....I've always wanted to do the hardwood flooring in my house. There is a public television show starring a guy named Ravee Patel. He shows installing the flooring to be so easy. Is it something one can do who has no experience? As encouraging as its shown on the screen, I don't want to waste money if it is too tough.

Flooring Advice from expert Ravee Patel

The guy is probably making it look easy but their is a lot involved. Why risk your investment of the flooring material. If you want to tackle the job yourself I would suggest doing a lot of research. Some topics to familiarize yourself with are; acclimation, expansion gaps, moisture testing, humidity, layout, underlayments, fastening methods, & what hardwood is needed for what subfloor just to name a few.
