I have discovered my floor rotting at my sliding glass door. Unfortunately, it appears to be bamaged under the near by load bearing wall. How can I repair this????

The floor joists seem to be in OK shape, but the subfloor under the wall can be ripped out with your hands. I'm worried the wall will start to sink a bit. Can I maybe dig the rotted out and slide a new piece under the wall while supporting it? Thanks for the replies.

Very doubtful ,you may end up taking the door out while you do this and that may open that proverbial can of worms that you don't want to mess with.

The problem here is that the wall and everything else is built on top of this plate as you are aware of i'm sure so getting to this without taking out the door is next to impossible. If you can take out the door and then sawzall the plate where the door was and cut it off even with the stud and then replace.
Unless someone has a better idea i think that is about the only option.
