Floating Floor in the kitchen

Hello to all.
I have bought the materials to install a floating wood laminate floor in my completely gutted kitchen. New cabinets and appliances are on their way.
I had planned on laying the flooring down on the entire floor before the cabinets and appliances arrive but now I have heard from 2 different people that I cannot place cabinets and appliances on a floating floor and that I must install this floor around them.

Can someone please confirm this.
By the way the kitchen is just a small 10' x 10' and my current tile floor is nice and level.

Thanks in advance

Yes, you will need to install the cabs first.
The cabs cannot be attached to the floating floor.

willie, as florcraft said cabinets first but free standing appliances refer and range should have flooring under them as far as dishwasher it depends I don't pull them in existing installs if they have adjustable legs I just screw them up if no adjustable I cut around them but if they are not installed I lay under where they go and fill the 1/4 expansion with silicone.
