Floating floor - bullnose stair install
I have finished installing my new floating floor except for the last piece - the bullnose tread leading to the staircase. It comes with a thin strip that is used to connect its groove to the grove in my last board, but that and some wood glue seem like a pretty flimsy connection considering the amount of traffic this is going to get, especially if someone steps right on the edge of the bullnose overhang. Should I face nail it in place as well? (it's a pre-finished floor so I'm worried filling the nail holes won't look very good.) If I nail it will that cause expansion problems?
