Floating floor - bullnose stair install

Hey everyone,

I have finished installing my new floating floor except for the last piece - the bullnose tread leading to the staircase. It comes with a thin strip that is used to connect its groove to the grove in my last board, but that and some wood glue seem like a pretty flimsy connection considering the amount of traffic this is going to get, especially if someone steps right on the edge of the bullnose overhang. Should I face nail it in place as well? (it's a pre-finished floor so I'm worried filling the nail holes won't look very good.) If I nail it will that cause expansion problems?

Is this a laminate floating floor or a wood floating floor?

It is solid, pre-finished, strand woven bamboo.

If the floor is meeting the riser of the first thread?it needs a gap for expansion, cover with 1/4 round.
the riser material can be glued to the sub/ply face.the thread will be one piece hard wood.
