Which first granitehearth or hardwood floor?

We are having a new hardwood floor put in our living room as well as a granite/marble/travertine hearth for the fireplace. There is a riased cement hearth already in place that the granite will be attached to. Which should be put in first - hardwood floor or granite/marble/travertine hearth?

Thanks, Suz
