Fireplace Lower Than Laminate

So I got to the end of my project and I noticed that the fireplace tiles are lower than my floor by the thickness of the laminate. Originally the fireplace was even with the wood floor but it became lower by 6 mm when I put in the laminate.

Any ideas on how I can edge the transition? I can't really buy any pre-made molding for the laminate I have since I bought it from a wholesale store. The word router comes to mind but I don't have one and I've never used one. I'm more conserned about the never used one part since I could buy one. How would you do something like this?

I google all over for lamiante to fireplace transitions but the fireplace was always the same height or higher than the floor. Any ideas would be great!

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like an end cap or overlap reducer would work in this situation. Hopefully you can find something that matches the color of the floor. Finding someone willing to sell you a few pieces may be the hardest part. Check some of the profiles at the page link below. The page deals with hardwood moldings but laminate manufacturers make the same ones.

Go to one of the big boxes and look at their offset T moldings. You should be able to find something in a similar color.
